WHAT IS A HENNE?
With henna, you can temporarily color your eyebrows in a natural and completely painless way to give them shape, without the need for pencils or powders.
Henna eyebrow dye is used to color the skin under the eyebrows. The aim is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth in the area, visually filling in any scattered hairs.
Henna is a natural plant dye made from a plant called hina or henna tree.
Results last from 5 to 14 days on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hair.
It will appeal to your customers looking for a natural, inexpensive and skin-friendly solution.
What are the advantages of HENNE?
- Inexpensive
- Natural
- Risk-free restructuring
- Tints the skin unlike conventional dyes
- No lotion required, just powder and water.
- A wide choice of colors
How does it work?
- First of all, you'll need to clean your eyebrows with the primer cleanser to degrease them.
- Draw your eyebrow and define its contours
- Mix Dyotics Eyebrow Henna with lukewarm tap water until an omogeneous paste is obtained.
Note:
if the dough is too runny, leave to rest for 5 minutes. The more water you add to henna and the longer you leave it on the skin, the harder it becomes.
Henna paste does not harden. Some henna-based products become very hard and therefore difficult to remove from the skin and hair. Dyotics eyebrow henna does not harden, making it easy to remove from the skin with a damp cotton bud.
Note
The more water you add to henna, and the longer you leave it on the skin, the harder it becomes.

Here are a few tips to help your customers enjoy their perfect eyebrows for as long as possible,
because a happy customer is a loyal customer, as we discussed in the previous article (

) :
- We recommend leaving the eyebrow henna to rest for 15 to 20 minutes; on very oily skin, a resting time of 25 to 30 minutes is recommended.
Sometimes 10 minutes is enough, especially if your client has very light, almost white hair. These hairs absorb the henna like a sponge, with a rather dark result. So be careful when working with these types of eyebrows.
- There are many greasy creams and lotions that can be faded with henna. It is therefore important that the skin is thoroughly cleansed beforehand
.
Dyotics skin preparation cleansing lotion is perfect for this purpose.

- If you have very dry skin in this area, we recommend exfoliating beforehand to remove all dead skin.
- Blend the top of your eyebrow after 5 to 10 minutes to create a gradient.
- Cleansing products, scrubs and peels are not recommended as long as the color is on the skin.
- Caution: when spray tanning into the skin cells, there's a good chance that it will produce a yellow or green glow on the skin around the eyebrows. Therefore, advise your client not to use tanning at least two weeks before the henna treatment.
- If your client's skin is very oily, it's not a good idea to use eyebrow henna, as it simply won't last.
- Don't worry if the shade you choose seems too light for your customer. You can immediately apply another coat with a darker shade on top. Shades of Dyōtics and Supercilium can be mixed at any time.
